Sight-Reading with Winken game (Midi/keyboard)

To all my fellow musicians who struggle with sight-reading, you need to start using this tool immediately: The Winken app (or similar rapid note-reading training applications).

This is not an entertainment game; it is a dedicated tool for developing the visual-note-to-key-press reflex.

The principle is incredibly simple: Whichever note appears on the screen, you must identify and press/select that note as quickly as possible. Training under this time pressure will force your eyes and hands to connect the sheet music image with the note's position on the keyboard (or the note name) without hesitation or counting lines.

By dedicating just 5-10 minutes daily to Winken, you will see a significant improvement in note recognition speed, which will save you a lot of time when learning new pieces of music. This is the most high-intensity, effective, and least boring practice method I have ever used.
